Job Summary The Shipping Specialist is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory management, incoming parts, outbound product inspections, and other office or warehouse duties as required.

Essential Functions

Receive parts and finished products to maintain accurate inventory records.

Assist in quality testing and inspection of incoming parts and products.

Document necessary activities to ensure compliance with applicable requirements, maintain product history reports and track all products and parts.

Pick, test, package, and ship parts and accessories.

Package and ship finished products in a manner that minimizes product problems caused during shipment.

Operate forklift to move products from warehouse to product line and vice versa.

Comply with all quality standards to maintain a safe working environment and meet product quality criteria.

Perform special projects as required.

Create a positive and supportive work environment.

Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.

Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.

Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.

Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior assembly, warehouse, or shipping experience preferred.

Will be required to successfully complete forklift operator training.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

Ability to bend and crouch while working with hand tools.

Repetitive use of upper hands and extremities.

Ability to grasp and use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, power tools, etc.

Must have dexterity to work with small parts as well as lift heavy items.
