Accounting Manager Job at Century Group in Los Angeles

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Prepare Journal Entries
• Review and Post Payables Entries, Cash and Receivable Entries
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of changes in financial position, budget variance analysis
• Maintain General Ledger for timely Financial Statements and Reporting
• Assist in the implementation of Raisers Edge to speak directly to Financial Edge
• Oversee payroll allocations on federal, local, and state grants
• Assists with Year-End and Contract Audits
• Reconcile Subledgers to General Ledger
• Maintain reconciliation audit schedules, workpapers and documentation for Controller review

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Significant Financial Edge + Blackbaud experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience
