Century Group is excited to partner with a great client in the consumer products industry who is searching for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles. This position would be focused on General Ledger type activities and be involved in supporting the Year End audit. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $42 to $45 per hour. Job Description:
- Journal entries, account reconciliations, reports (person in this role will prepare some of these as well as review work performed by 3 Accountants reporting into them).
- Prepare audit schedules, review schedules from the team, pull supporting documents, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
- Good excel skills
- NetSuite experience - required
- Prior supervisory experience - required
- Experience with ASC842 implementation - a plus
- Good General Accounting experience and can work with minimal supervision
