Join a patient-centered clinical team collecting and processing blood specimens in a high-volume, regulated environment. You'll deliver excellent donor/patient care, ensure specimen quality, and follow HIPAA/PHI standards at all times.

What you'll do
- Greet, screen, and prepare donors/patients; verify ID and consent; ensure confidentiality.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections; monitor donors/patients and respond to adverse reactions.
- Set up, operate, and disconnect collection equipment; dispose of biohazard materials per protocol.
- Label, process, and document specimens accurately (EMR/LIS); maintain chain of custody.
- Inspect and maintain phlebotomy stations, supplies, and PPE; escalate equipment issues.
- Uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards; complete required logs and audits.
- Provide compassionate, professional service; build rapport to support comfort and retention.
- High school diploma or GED.
- MediClear (or equivalent HIPAA certification) required.
- Superior customer service and communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (including some evenings/weekends/holidays as needed).
- Phlebotomy certification (e.g., CPT, RPT) and/or prior clinical phlebotomy experience.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR/LIS workflows and specimen handling in a regulated setting.
- Frequent standing/walking (6-8 hrs/shift); occasional squatting/crouching.
- Manual dexterity for precise venipuncture and labeling; frequent hand/wrist movements.
- Use of PPE (gloves, protective eyewear/garments; cold-gear as needed).
- Work around biological fluids; occasional work in cold storage areas.
