Client Portfolio Manager . This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering sophisticated investment insights, building internal expertise, and supporting capital‑raising initiatives.
As a bridge between investment strategy and investor engagement, the Client Portfolio Manager will help drive platform growth by creating compelling content, managing investor due diligence, and contributing to strategic communication efforts across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key point of contact for investor due diligence, managing requests and coordinating timely responses.
Design and implement scalable systems to enhance investment communication and analysis.
Maintain organized, high‑quality investment materials across a wide range of alternative vehicles.
Develop clear, insightful collateral to support capital formation and business development efforts.
Track macroeconomic and competitive trends to enhance strategic positioning.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to support firm‑wide investor communication strategies.
Success in This Role Will Require:
Strong ability to distill and communicate complex investment ideas in a clear, engaging manner.
Familiarity with the due diligence process and investor‑facing communication.
High attention to detail, organizational rigor, and a proactive mindset.
Capacity to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Quick understanding of the firm’s investment philosophy and the ability to translate that into effective messaging.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Progress toward or completion of a CAIA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
4–6 years of experience in the investment industry, preferably with exposure to alternatives.
Understanding of alternative asset classes, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and hedge funds.
Excellent written and presentation skills.
Familiarity with tools such as DealCloud, Bloomberg, or MSCI Caissa is preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and ability to interpret macro and microeconomic data.
