Overview

Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial electrical projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure successful delivery of electrical systems in commercial environments such as office buildings, retail centers, healthcare facilities, and mixed-use developments. Responsibilities

Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Review electrical plans and specifications to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labor resources. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet deadlines. Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and present project status reports to address issues and conflicts that arise during construction. Manage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, and invoicing. Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial electrical projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes (NEC), and construction practices. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications

PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. Experience in commercial project environments is essential. Work Environment

This position involves traveling to project sites ranging from Greenville, NC to Greensboro. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to various commercial project settings. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
