Position Summary For the William H. Bowen School of Law, a nine-month, full‑time, tenure‑track position to teach Criminal Law & Criminal Procedure is available beginning August 2027.
Required Education and/or Experience
J.D. from an accredited law school
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Outstanding academic credentials
Prior teaching experience
Law review or moot court service
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Teach classes as assigned
Achieve teaching goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to teach
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in person, in writing, and through electronic means of communication
Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data in decision‑making
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of students
Demonstrated ability to advise students
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and collaborate with colleagues
Salary Information Commensurate with education and experience.
