MORRIS & RITCHIE ASSOCIATES, INC. (MRA) is seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with 2-4 years of wireless/telecommunication experience for our office in Towson, Maryland. The employee in this position will work on an ever-changing mix of wireless and non-wireless projects, which could include telecommunication facilities (towers, water tanks, rooftops, and antenna mounts), low-rise buildings, highway and earth-retaining structures, and a blend of other atypical structures, as needed. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential, as the employee will be responsible for discussing and implementing various design concepts and preparing technical reports.
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
Past experience with structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and wood structures
Experience and Proficiency working in the RISA Suite (including RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, and RISA Connection)
tnxTower, tnxFoundation, Enercalc, L-Pile, Excel and AutoCAD are a plus
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
