Seal Dynamics (A HEICO Company) founded in 1976, with its corporate headquarters based in Hauppauge, NY, is a world leader in technical sales and the distribution of aerospace components. Our unique marketing and technical sales approach assists customers in selecting products that reduce cost of ownership, covering structural, mechanical and electro‑mechanical products for airframe and engine applications across all ATA Chapters. We stock and distribute over 100,000 products worldwide and are market leaders in design and development of FAA‑approved alternative parts.
This role reports to our Hauppauge, NY Office.
Responsibilities
Follow up on open quotes and close the sale opportunity.
Utilize sales tools and systems to identify sales gaps and proactively promote to customers.
Coordinate priorities and pricing with Product Managers.
Build Seal Dynamics visibility and contact depth within the account base.
Develop in‑depth knowledge of our products.
Develop relationships with buyers, management and engineers where applicable.
Build and report on sales and GP budget; assist with collections in coordination with Finance when AR escalation is required.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of responsiveness and service to build trust and credibility with customers.
Utilize CRM tools to track engagement and document customer feedback.
Effectively communicate strategy and achievements with Product Managers and Strategic Partners.
Keep up to date on industry and product trends.
Effectively utilize computer tools, systems, and reports to access information independently.
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends for action.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Fluent in English.
Highly motivated with a passion to succeed and deliver results.
Entrepreneurial mentality to build business from an existing customer base.
Ability to overcome obstacles and rejection.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to influence decisions.
Maintain professionalism at all times (especially under stress).
Negotiation skills to address challenges (pricing, credit limits) and maximize profitability.
Ability to quickly respond to requests and close deals with urgency.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
Team player mentality, willing to work with a diverse mix of individuals, placing team before self.
Education & Experience
Minimum 3 years in an inside sales or sales role (not customer service).
Broad understanding of the commercial aerospace business.
Ability to work on a computer 8 hours per day.
Flexibility to travel where needed up to 10%.
This role is salary and incentive based.
We offer a 9/80 work schedule which allows for every other Friday off.
