Lead Pricing Analyst – Akima

We are looking for a Lead Pricing Analyst to lead complex pricing analyses and strategy development in support of organizational goals. The role works cross‑functionally with finance, sales, contracts, and operations teams to develop competitive pricing models and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of complex pricing models for proposals, contracts, and business opportunities.
Analyze historical pricing data and market trends to recommend optimal pricing strategies.
Collaborate with finance and business development teams to align with revenue and margin goals.
Support government contract pricing.
Evaluate competitor pricing and market positioning to support win strategies.
Review RFPs/RFQs to ensure cost proposals meet requirements and pricing is compliant.
Present pricing recommendations to senior leadership and contribute to pricing governance reviews.
Mentor or review the work of junior pricing analysts.
Desired Skills
Experience with custom fringe buildups.
Experience with complex cost narratives.
Familiarity with base operations support or similar proposals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field and 6+ years of experience.
Expert skills in MS Excel.
