Establish and maintain key client relationships, overseeing project execution, driving quality and delivery, and marketing new opportunities. Supervise and grow a local substation team of engineers and designers, overseeing workload, quality, utilization, morale, training, and annual performance reviews. Apply basic project management tools and techniques to manage client goals, contract types, risk, scope, schedule, budget, earned value, and closeout. Collaborate across regions and nationally to balance staff workload, quality, utilization, morale, and training. Leverage relationships with technical peers to support work‑sharing and resource utilization. Coordinate with marketing and leadership for business development. Implement HDR Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures. Oversee non‑engineering project components such as public involvement, permitting, right‑of‑way acquisition, and construction management. Mentor project engineers, interns, and junior staff. Provide client, project, and technical support activities. Represent HDR in marketing and proposal development. Travel for business development and execution as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or intent to obtain. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred. Familiarity with Idaho‑based utilities desired. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience. Professional registration, license, or certification as required for the role. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments. Organizational and leadership skills. Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
