About the Role You’ve closed complex deals. You’ve prospected new customers. You’ve repeatedly met quota. Now what? Scaling Sage Intacct is our #1 company initiative. As an Account Executive, you’ll have a front‑row seat to influencing the success of the company. Our software makes life easier for small to midsized businesses and you will be the trusted advisor partnering with prospects to do so. You’ll do this by working closely with our SDRs, building pipeline and managing the sales process with customers.

How You’ll Grow Revenue

Interacting with customers to understand their business needs and apply Sage Intacct solutions.

Leveraging the trust we already have in the market—many accounting firms and CPAs know and believe in Sage Intacct, the first and only accounting software with the exclusive AICPA endorsement and #1 ranking in customer satisfaction on G2.

Leaning into the leads given to you (≈ 75%) and being savvy at finding opportunities to generate your own (≈ 25%).

First 90 Days

With one‑on‑one support from your leader, you’ll learn the Sage landscape, undergo virtual training on our products, and shadow your teammates. You will start prospecting and managing deals on your own while also starting to close deals.

Your Day‑to‑Day

Identifying and qualifying opportunities and pursuing conversion of qualified leads to customer solutions with subscription‑based revenue.

Receiving inbound leads.

Delivering a value proposition via customer meetings, telephone, internet, and webinars.

Negotiating pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required.

Forecasting all opportunities based on the Sage Intacct sales model and opportunity management definitions.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of B2B quota‑carrying software or technology sales experience (preferably ERP).

2+ years managing and closing complex sales cycles, selling to the C‑suite.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

BS/BA degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance or related fields.

Hospitality experience (degree or real‑life experience in hotels, restaurants, professional sports, and entertainment).

Track record of over‑achieving quota (top 10‑20% of company) in past positions.

Strong business aptitude with proven success in net new logo sales in a fast‑paced environment.

A self‑starter who is results‑driven, motivated, and ambitious with a ‘can‑do’ attitude.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Previous sales methodology training.

Strong computer skills, including Outreach, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
