Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area President to lead and manage a high‑performing team of Producers, driving revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships. The Area President will play a pivotal role in supporting the team on new business pitches, client renewals, and developing strategic partnerships with key centers of influence, such as banks, lenders, payroll providers, and corporate benefit providers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance industry, a proven track record of leadership, and the ability to cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and success. The current team of Producers is based in Colorado and Illinois, with the intention to expand the team’s footprint across the US through acquisitions and targeted producer hires.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Producers to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Foster a collaborative and high‑performance culture that encourages professional growth and development.
Provide coaching and guidance to Producers on sales strategies, client engagement, and market opportunities.
Set clear performance goals and regularly monitor progress to ensure accountability and success.
Business Development and Client Engagement
Support Producers in new business pitches, ensuring compelling and tailored presentations to prospective clients.
Actively participate in client renewal meetings to strengthen relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue streams.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging deep industry knowledge to address their unique needs.
Strategic Partnerships
Develop and nurture strong relationships with centers of influence, including banks, lenders, payroll providers, and corporate benefit providers.
Collaborate with strategic partners to create mutually beneficial opportunities and drive business growth.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and build connections.
Operational Excellence
Oversee the financial performance of the team, ensuring new business and renewal targets are met.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align team efforts with organizational goals and strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
About You
Proven leadership experience, managing and developing high‑performing sales teams.
Deep knowledge of the insurance sector, including products, markets, and industry trends.
Exceptional leadership and team‑building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Strong business development and client relationship management capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing revenue and profitability targets.
Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
