Industrial Engineer 3 – Portland, OR
Position Overview Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, as well as utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve flow of products and people throughout the site. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter and a collaborative team player. Our business unit allows you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world including supply chain logistics and transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies to be delivered to our assembly and installation programs around the world.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field.
3 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
3 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
Preferred Skills
Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
3 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.
Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
Proficient in structured problem solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Education / Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience.
