Alumiworks Inc. is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Field Operations Manager to lead and coordinate all field operations for our commercial and multi-family construction projects. This pivotal role is responsible for aligning internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedules, quality standards, safety protocols, and invoicing all stay on track. You\'ll be the key link between the field and the office-driving project performance, training crews, resolving field challenges, and delivering exceptional client experiences from pre-construction to closeout. Customer & Schedule Coordination Communicate with client project managers to confirm and refine project schedules. Conduct pre-construction meetings to validate scope and project timing. Document all verbal commitments with follow-up written confirmations. Hold in-person meetings (minimum twice per project) to review quality, crew performance, and client satisfaction.
Internal Team Coordination Work with production management to prioritize schedules and optimize job sequencing. Coordinate crew availability and superintendent workloads to avoid delays. Ensure clear communication between superintendents and subcontractors about expectations and deadlines.
Subcontractor Oversight Confirm subcontractors understand and meet daily and weekly deadlines. Review and sign off on weekly subcontractor payment approvals. Enforce backcharges if product is missing or punch work requires in-house intervention.
Quality Control & Inspections Conduct site inspections personally or via superintendents using photos. Identify and correct any deficiencies promptly; enforce accountability through backcharge policies. Ensure all products are delivered and installed per specifications.
Training & SOP Enforcement Provide hands-on training and mock-ups for standard Alumiworks products and procedures. Confirm all teams understand and follow Alumiworks installation SOPs before starting work.
Invoicing & Change Orders Relay approved customer changes and scope updates to the business office. Support pricing estimates for custom change orders with input to the sales team.
Additional Duties Perform other duties as assigned to support company growth and jobsite success.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in multi-family or commercial construction management Proven supervisory experience managing subcontractors and field teams Proficiency with construction schedules, particularly Gantt charts High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Strong communication and customer relationship-building skills Tech-savvy and experienced with web-based construction platforms Comfortable working outdoors and in fast-paced job site environments High School diploma required; college degree preferred Valid driver\'s license; background check will be conducted in compliance with applicable laws Benefits
