Position Summary
Senior Manager, Ocean Origin LCL/FCL Operation Automation at Walmart Global Logistics leads automation initiatives to streamline international ocean freight operations. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction through technology-driven solutions. The manager collaborates cross-functionally with teams in marketplace, procurement, operations, and tech to deliver scalable automation strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and ensuring operational excellence across LCL/FCL workflows. The position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas and reports to the Director of Ocean Origin LCL/FCL Operation Automation.

Drive Automation:
Design and implement automation initiatives to streamline Ocean Origin LCL/FCL operations and improve efficiency.
Deliver for the Customer:
Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring automation solutions exceed expectations and support business growth.
Think Big:
Identify opportunities to leverage technology and process improvements to scale ocean freight operations.
Lead Cross-Functional Projects:
Collaborate with marketplace, procurement, operations, and tech teams to deliver impactful automation solutions.
Ensure Operational Excellence:
Monitor performance, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement across ocean origin operations.

Are a self-starter with a builder mindset, comfortable managing complexity and ambiguity.
Have strong communication skills and can juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Have experience leading cross-functional projects without direct authority.
Bring a background in ocean freight forwarding, supply chain, and operational automation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in operations management, automation, logistics, or a related area.
OR 6 years of experience in operations management, automation, logistics, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
2 years of experience developing automation or logistics solution strategies.
2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams.
Operational experience with Ocean LCL/FCL.

Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00–$180,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock options.
