Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving profitable growth for locally based cleaning and restoration company. This role provides leadership to all operational, administrative, and field service teams while upholding brand standards, safety, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations across mitigation, reconstruction, and specialty cleaning services
Serve as primary point of contact between operations, marketing and back‑office team and owner
Develop and implement strategic plans to meet revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals
Train, coach, and evaluate team members in field and office rolesEnsure job profitability, accuracy in estimating, and adherence to project budgets
Monitor job progress, quality, safety compliance, and customer communication
Maintain relationships with referral partners, adjusters, property managers, and commercial clients
Oversee effective scheduling, dispatch, equipment/resource allocation, and project documentation
Analyze performance metrics and provide reporting to ownership
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, service delivery, and brand reputation
Qualifications
5+ years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, or related service industry.
Strong understanding of water, fire, mold, and reconstruction workflows
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
IICRC certifications (WRT or AMRT OR FSRT)
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening
