Responsibilities

Provide market value estimates in conformance with a variety of local, county, state and/or federal requirements.

Prepare appraisals or review appraisal reports prepared by others involving valuation conditions, including partial acquisitions, entire acquisitions, and easement valuations.

Lead others or work closely with a large team as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years experience or equivalent combination thereof.

Preference given to local candidates.

Required Qualifications

May need to hold a General Certification license in the States where work is performed.

Education specific to eminent domain acquisitions or right-of-way appraisal will be considered a positive attribute.

An understanding of the requirements of the UASFLA (Yellow Book), the appropriate state Department of Transportation Right-of-Way manual(s), and USPAP.

Experience with industry-specific appraisal forms is expected.

MAI designation is a plus.
