(Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Application Developer with expertise in Java and Spring Boot to support modernization and development efforts for a federal education client. You'll help design and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions that strengthen mission-critical systems across multiple environments. What You'll Do As an Application Developer, you will: * Design and develop scalable, reliable software solutions leveraging Java and Spring Boot frameworks. * Translate functional specifications into technical designs and efficient, maintainable code. * Architect technical implementations that align with system and business requirements. * Build and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and system testing. * Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth production deployments. * Document APIs, codebases, and system architecture for maintainability and transparency. * Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote engineering best practices. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the SDLC. * Support modernization by refactoring legacy Java 8 code to Java 21, ensuring backward compatibility and improved performance.
