Currently seeking a Nurse Manager for a non-profit
HOSPICE
Provider in the Lanham, MD area. The Nurse Manager will oversee a census of about 85 end-of-life patients and an interdisciplinary team of about 14 direct reports. Schedule
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with no weekends or on-call requirement (1 winter and 1 summer holiday required). Opportunity for a few remote work days per week. Benefits and Compensation
Highly competitive salary ranging from approximately $95,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year depending on years of experience or qualifications Mileage reimbursement at the IRS recommended rate 401K with company paid match Responsibilities
Provide oversight to field-based interdisciplinary hospice team and act as a resource for support. Handle hiring, firing, mentorship, performance goals and disciplinary action for assigned team of professionals. At times conduct in-person patient visits for support of field team, handle family/patients complaints or issues that arise. Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years of previous supervisory or management experience is required. Ideal experience is hospice, however, geriatric clinical leadership experience will be considered. Bachelor's Degree in related field. Contact
