We’re on a mission to expand our footprint in environmental research across EMEA—and we’re looking for a passionate Key Account Manager to help us achieve it. The Role:

As our Key Account Manager for Environmental Research, you’ll be the trusted advisor to our clients in the DACH region. Combining scientific expertise with business acumen, you’ll manage and grow relationships with universities, research institutions, and environmental organizations. This is your opportunity to influence the future of environmental research while driving commercial growth for a world‑leading company. What You’ll Do:

Build strong, lasting relationships with existing environmental research clients and act as their go‑to advisor. Identify new business opportunities and grow our client base across the environmental research sector. Stay ahead of trends and developments in environmental research, sustainability, and micrometeorology to provide expert guidance. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including scientists, data analysts, and technical experts. Track and report key performance metrics to optimize client success and company growth. Represent Campbell Scientific at conferences, site visits, and meetings—both locally and internationally. What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in account management or sales within the environmental research sector. Experience advising universities or institutions on technical matters. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to explain complex scientific concepts clearly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive, proactive, and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Fluency in German and English. Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally. EU work eligibility and a full driving license. Nice to Have:

Degree in an environmental discipline or equivalent experience in a technology‑focused company. Professional qualification in sales or administration. Why Campbell Scientific:
