Overview
Associate Attorney - Suburban Philadelphia role at The Mom Project. Location: Main Line/Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Family friendly law firm with a reputation for superb writing and advocacy seeks a hard-working associate with superior writing skills. Small firm: two Attorneys & one Paralegal. This position requires creativity, the ability to handle a wide range of cases, including workers’ compensation, civil litigation, Social Security disability and personal injury, and appearance in court to advocate for clients. The ideal candidate must love to write, welcome the opportunity to craft winning legal arguments, and enjoy using and learning cutting edge technology. Responsibilities
Appear in court to advocate for clients and handle a wide range of cases, including workers’ compensation, civil litigation, Social Security disability, and personal injury. Draft dispositive motions and appellate briefs; demonstrate excellent writing skills. Utilize and learn cutting edge technology to support litigation and advocacy. Collaborate in a small firm environment and contribute to high-quality writing and advocacy. Qualifications
Be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. Have a keen eye for detail and excellent logic. Have excellent writing skills, particularly with dispositive motions and appellate briefs; furnish a superior writing sample. Be able to explain why you should have an interview. All applications must include a cover letter, resume, writing sample and salary requirements to be considered for an interview. Employment details
Schedule: 24-32 hours per week; open to part-time availability. Remote work option available after acclimation. PTO and 401K benefits.
