Global Vice President of Product Engineering Location: Jacksonville, NC /Blythewood, SC / Global Department: Engineering & Product Development Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operating Officer Job Type: Full-Time | Executive Level Travel: Up to 30%, but as needed to support business growth: Domestic and International About the Company STANADYNE is a leading global manufacturer of advanced fuel delivery systems & technologies serving OEM, Remanufacturing, Performance and Aftermarket market segments. Position Summary The Global Vice President of Product Engineering is responsible for leading the company’s global engineering strategy, innovation pipeline, and execution across all product lines in the fuel systems category. This includes new product development, sustaining engineering, quality assurance, and technology integration. The VP will oversee engineering teams across global locations and ensure alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and performance benchmarks. This executive will play a key leadership role in driving innovation, optimizing product performance, and maintaining Stanadyne’s leadership in fuel pump and fuel system technologies across both OEM, Industrial, Remanufacturing and Performance markets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the global product engineering strategy aligned with company goals and product roadmaps. Lead innovation initiatives to drive competitive differentiation and expand product offerings in gas and diesel fuel systems. Champion cross-functional collaboration between engineering, R&D, manufacturing, sales, and product management. Serve as a key contributor on the executive leadership team making decisions regarding Product Strategy, Development, Validation, Launch and market expansion. Product Engineering & Development Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through production for Fuel Pumps, New & Reman Injectors, Turbos, EGR Valves and related System Components. Guide engineering teams in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance fuel delivery solutions for both combustion engines and hybrid platforms. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance (SAE, ISO, EPA, CARB, etc.). Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, Six Sigma, and APQP principles to all product engineering efforts. Technical Oversight Lead advanced engineering initiatives, including integration of electronics, smart diagnostics, and materials innovation in fuel system components. Oversee validation, testing, and simulation protocols to ensure world-class reliability and performance. Drive modular and platform-based design strategies to improve engineering efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Global Team & Talent Management Manage and develop a diverse, high-performing global engineering team including mechanical, electrical, test, and systems engineers. Build engineering leadership succession plans and talent development strategies. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and improve team effectiveness and product/program delivery. Customer & Market Engagement Serve as a senior technical liaison with key OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and performance product customers globally. Translate customer voice (VOC) into actionable engineering deliverables. Support customer launches, technical reviews, and problem-solving as a key executive sponsor. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering. Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred. 15+ years of engineering experience in the automotive or fuel systems industry, with at least 5 years in a global executive leadership role. Deep technical expertise in gas and diesel fuel pumps, high-pressure fuel systems, injectors, and performance fuel technologies. Proven track record of leading new product development in both OEM and aftermarket environments. Strong understanding of automotive industry standards, product validation, and global compliance requirements. Experience managing global teams and cross-regional engineering operations. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, reduce time to market, and improve engineering productivity. Exceptional communication, leadership, and executive presence. Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-performance automotive applications (motorsports, racing, aftermarket tuning). Familiarity with evolving propulsion technologies, including alternative fuels, hybrid-electric integration, and emissions control systems. Proficiency in CAD, PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill), and engineering analytics tools.
