At Winner's Circle Group of Texas, our mission is to empower special needs children and adults, along with their families, through innovative and effective programs. We are dedicated to providing top-quality mental health services to help individuals lead healthy, productive lives. Position Overview
As a Traveling Float Pool Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), you will provide a range of services to engage, support, and coach parents, children, and youth within the child welfare system. This dynamic role requires flexibility, as you will rotate between multiple locations, offering support to sites experiencing high demand or in the process of being established. Your primary focus will be building rapport with children and youth while implementing targeted interventions to enhance their well-being and stability during transitional periods. This role requires strong independent problem‑solving skills, as you will often be working autonomously in new or high‑need environments. Travel across Texas is required, with assignments lasting an average of two weeks to one month within a designated region. Despite the travel demands, QMHPs are still expected to bill a minimum of 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a representative of the WCG Team at designated locations, particularly when launching new sites or providing additional staffing support. Engage and collaborate with agencies, guardians, children, and youth within the child welfare system. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and youth to promote their personal growth and functional development. Provide comprehensive handoff and transition plans to ensure continuity of care, keeping assigned QMHPs and agencies fully informed. Demonstrate strong independent problem‑solving skills, adapting to new environments, caseloads, and agency structures with minimal supervision. Travel within the assigned region for periods of 2 weeks to 1 month per assignment, ensuring seamless support and transition assistance. Maintain consistent productivity, billing 30–40 hours per week despite varying locations and travel commitments. Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a QMHP. Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, including Psychology, Social Work, Medicine, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Counseling, Sociology, Human Growth and Development, Physician Assistant Studies, Gerontology, Special Education, Educational Psychology, Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Intervention.
