The Client Organization was established to drive enterprise-wide approaches to client coverage, identifying and filling gaps or reducing duplication to ensure consistency throughout the firm. It also coordinates the allocation of capital and other financial, technology and human resources toward client segments with the best returns potential, and it manages wholesale credit and counterparty risk. The Client Organization operates across 40+ jurisdictions globally.

The Governance and Escalations team sits within the Chief Administrative Office, under the Head of Controls. The team supports and executes activities related to Corporate Governance, including Governance Committees, management meetings, Board Material Data Accuracy Controls, Escalations of Events, and oversight of the Client Organization Executive Scorecard Risk & Control metric performance, Organizational Change Management and New Activities.

Overview This role sits within the Governance team. The role will be expected to execute and support a range of activities related to the Client Organization\'s Governance to enable effective Governance management and improve the Client Organization\'s overall decision-making through enhanced processes and culture.

Responsibilities

Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Client Organization Governance framework for management meetings in line with Citi\'s Governance Operating Model.

Implement Governance Committee policy documents, templates, training, communications, reviews and assessments within the operating guide.

Ensure approval of the Client Organization Governance operating guide.

Maintain and regularly review the inventory of Client-owned Governance Committees and management meetings, managing the lifecycle of the inventory.

Monitor compliance with the operating guide and work with Committee or management meeting secretaries/coordinators to address potential issues related to operational efficiency.

Review and approve regular reporting of inventory that may be included in Governance Committees or management meetings.

Oversee the governance flow for clarity in matters being escalated or elevated.

Reduce redundancies or duplicative management meetings through robust screening of new management meeting requests.

Work on ad-hoc requests and assist with oversight of Wholesale Lending Governance landscape.

Review materials and present g Roadshows to build awareness of the Client Organization\'s Governance processes, roles and responsibilities.

Coordinate, monitor, and ensure the execution of controls are effective.

Qualifications & Skills:

10+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services in Business Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, and/or governance and control.

Experience in Corporate Governance and governance coordination.

Experience managing teams with broad accountability in a complex environment, with ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical actions.

Proven program management support experience, including continuous program improvement.

Solid understanding of a broad range of financial services products/services and end-to-end processes.

Strong knowledge of financial services control environments, business processes, and evolving governance and regulatory environments.

Ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate business problems and guide development of pragmatic control recommendations and solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-starting team player with multitasking and prioritization abilities.

Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
