Recruiter (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Recruiter Generalist. This virtual position offers an exciting opportunity to support our Recruiting and Talent Sourcing efforts within a large organization. The role will begin as a 3-month contract with the potential for extension on a quarterly basis, up to 18 months. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the recruiting lifecycle and demonstrate the ability to execute efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and candidate experience. You will play a crucial role in fulfilling business hiring objectives across various teams within the Microsoft Global Talent Acquisition organization.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for all Microsoft FTE roles across Azure data, security, MAI, commercial/Sales, and Marketing lines of business, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers or rejecting candidates, and onboarding.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to stay informed about current and future hiring needs.
Engage with candidates by informing them of employment possibilities, consideration status, and selection processes while keeping them warm for upcoming roles.
Requirements
5-7 years of talent acquisition experience in a sourcing or recruiting capacity OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
Proven ability to handle high volume recruitment or manage a full requisition load consistently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing time.
Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices.
Proficient in Boolean Search String techniques for talent sourcing across multiple platforms.
Understanding of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training.
Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Adaptability to process changes in a fast-paced environment.

Duration: 3 Months
Pay Range: $36.50 - $41.50 per hour
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
