Their platform delivers predictive insights that enhance underwriting precision, streamline claims handling, and accelerate decision‑making. With strong VC backing and rapid commercial momentum, they are hiring a Sales Director to drive growth, close key enterprise accounts, and help shape the GTM motion in this next phase of scale.
What you will do
Own a defined territory or vertical and deliver consistent new business results against annual targets.
Develop and manage a high‑quality pipeline through strategic outbound, channel, and event‑driven activity.
Lead discovery and value articulation, guiding prospects through pilots and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
Navigate complex sales cycles with legal, compliance, and security teams in regulated environments.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, data, and engineering to align solutions to measurable outcomes.
Contribute to pricing strategy and deal structuring focused on ARR growth and long‑term retention.
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and disciplined CRM hygiene.
Build senior relationships with carrier and MGA decision‑makers and position the platform as a trusted partner.
What success looks like in your first year
Two or more marquee wins with clear ROI and customer advocacy.
Consistent quota performance supported by a 3x+ pipeline coverage ratio.
Shortened proof‑of‑concept to production conversion timelines.
Expansion opportunities established in initial customers with executive champions identified.
Repeatable sales motions, messaging, and use cases documented in collaboration with marketing and product.
What you bring
5–10 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with 3+ years in insurance, analytics, or data‑driven software.
Track record of closing six‑ and seven‑figure deals with senior stakeholders across underwriting and claims.
Strong value‑selling and business case development skills for technical and non‑technical buyers.
Understanding of data platforms, APIs, and AI‑driven analytics — able to link technical capabilities to business KPIs.
Proficiency in Salesforce, pipeline management, and structured methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger).
Clear communication, consultative approach, and consistent execution discipline.
Growth‑oriented mindset — thrives in a scaling environment and contributes to refining GTM playbooks.
