Roles & Responsibilities Within the Corporate Finance Department, the Senior Revenue Recognition Technical Accountant is responsible for managing the revenue recognition topics for Dassault Systèmes across the North America and LATAM markets. The role collaborates with legal teams, sales support, other accounting and finance departments, and ensures compliant revenue recognition under international accounting standards (IFRS 15/ASC 606).

Review deals in the sales pipeline to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 and the Group Revenue Recognition policy.

Prepare the summary of the accounting treatment of transactions closed at each quarter end.

Identify and analyze significant revenue recognition topics and areas where significant judgment is necessary for deals in negotiation, deriving conclusions or accounting options and communicating them effectively and timely to Finance Management and other business partners.

Work during deal negotiations with other Business Administration teams, pricing, legal and sales on the structure of deals, proposing alternatives in deal structuring to achieve the best revenue results while ensuring compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 requirements.

Serve as a focal contact point for any revenue recognition topic within the Group to implement and adhere to necessary activities and procedures related to the Group “Order-to-Cash” process.

Prepare requests for revenue adjustments to be booked by the Billing and Revenue Accounting team.

Assist the Billing and Revenue Accounting team in reviewing or reconciling revenue accounts and related balance sheet accounts.

Participate in Revenue Recognition Group projects aimed at improving and automating current processes and reporting.

Conduct technical accounting guidance research for the development of new and/or clarification of the Group Revenue Recognition policy, monitoring, researching, and communicating any new guidance relevant to 3DS revenue recognition.

Interact with internal and external auditors and coordinate responses to their requests.

Provide training on revenue recognition rules for other business partners and organizations of the Group when required.

Participate in due diligence and integration of acquired companies.

Qualifications Graduated from a university with a bachelor’s degree specialized in Finance, Accounting or a related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Expert knowledge of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 and related revenue recognition topics applied to business cases.

Specific experience working in revenue recognition at (and/or auditing) software companies strongly preferred.

Excellent communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

Positive attitude and strong team spirit, with the ability to collaborate and find common ground with business partners.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

Proactive, well‑organized, autonomous and adaptable team player.

Strong skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common business technology tools.

CPA license (active or inactive) and experience preparing revenue‑related journal entries, exposure to common ERP systems and revenue accounting tools will be considered a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Salary range: $118,200 – $158,600 annually, commensurate with experience, including target bonus.
