Senior Manufacturing Supervisor Lead a multi-skilled production team in an Aerospace Manufacturing Operation onsite at our Fairfield, CA site. You will meet Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), customer, quality, delivery, and financial goals within the facility, set operational direction for assigned work cells, create training plans, schedule production, implement projects, drive continuous improvement, and communicate with leadership and direct employees.

What You Will Do

Lead a multi‑skilled production team by setting clear expectations, allocating resources, removing roadblocks, and coaching for performance.

Maintain and promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with EHS policies and standards.

Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and identify opportunities for improvement with action‑driven follow‑up.

Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on safety, quality, productivity, and team performance.

Drive compliance to production schedules and plant metrics, including On‑Time Delivery (OTD), Takt Time, and customer requirements.

Partner cross‑functionally to assess inventory needs, staffing adjustments, and operational planning within budget and time constraints.

Support training programs to develop employee skills and build flexibility across manufacturing areas.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging Lean, RCCA, Six Sigma, and other problem‑solving methodologies.

Analyze data to optimize workflows, staffing levels, and resource planning for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications You Must Have

University degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) access.

Experience leading and supervising a team.

Experience with continuous improvement tools and lean manufacturing principles.

Experience with SAP, MES, ERP, JIRA or similar tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications We Prefer

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; good judgment to resolve conflicts.

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and quality control.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including senior level management.
