Site Quality Leader
to work onsite at our Fairfield, CA facility. You will have site quality responsibilities for the propulsion site. The scope of responsibility spans across strategic and tactical elements of Quality. You will lead a team of Quality professionals who lead Compliance, Inspection, NDT, Program/Product Quality. You will set direction and lead resources to ensure continuous quality improvement for a variety of performance and experience levels. You will also establish the strategy and provide guidance across the organization with the implementation of plans and procedures that drive achievement of Quality goals. Safety is an expectation for all Collins Aerospace employees. Employees are expected to work safely, follow all safety rules, requirements, procedures, and instructions always. You are expected to actively participate in the safety program and be mindful of your safety and the safety of others, and to complete all safety training in a timely manner. Location

Coach and mentor team with skills development, strategy & critical decision-making processes. Collaborate with direct reports, peers and leadership to develop a One Mission Systems culture of Quality within organization and within site. Cross Functional Collaboration within Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Quality, Engineering, and Program Office/Value Stream Leader. Directs production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and makes recommendations for quality improvement. Oversee, facilitate, develop and manage plans, guidelines, policies, and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets. Leads implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving through site ZERO/Pro Active Quality plans and initiatives. Oversee quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes. Manage teams collecting and analyzing quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs. Manage teams providing production process support, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement. Manage Compliance Team and enables implementation of procedures and metrics that support compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Manage teams providing expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, government regulations and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards. Develop and manage processes, standards, and plans for the implementation of minimum standards and utilization of tools and methods to ensure effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustainment of quality performance improvements. Interface with customer counterparts to resolve issues, address customer concerns and create Quality improvement plans. Travel time up to 10% Work on-site 100% of time Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access. Experience leading teams of leaders. Site quality leader experience. Experience in operations management or an engineering background. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience executing ZDP, ACE, CORE or LEAN practices SAP experience or similar ERP Experience in a manufacturing/ aerospace environment What We Offer
