We are seeking a dedicated EHS Specialist to join our Fairfield, CA team to maintain the highest standards of environmental health and safety. As an individual contributor we expect you to work safely, follow all safety rules, complete required training in a timely manner, and actively participate in the safety program.
What You Will Do
Manage the implementation of the site’s EH&S policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and deliver EH&S training materials, maintain standardized documentation, and update processes to drive continuous improvement in EH&S performance.
Lead cross‑functional projects and EH&S committees, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Implement and oversee key EH&S programs that support site operations and ensure compliance with regulations and Management System requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations to mitigate workplace hazards.
Ensure compliance with explosive safety and general safety protocols.
Lead initiatives to meet aggressive safety and performance goals, collaborating with individuals across all levels.
Contribute to emergency response and evacuation planning, ensuring site readiness and safety compliance.
Manage independent projects while providing leadership within multiple team efforts.
Pursue continuous growth and development in EH&S.
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access.
Experience in a professional EH&S setting.
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, P.E., or CHMM.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of EH&S regulations and management systems.
