What You’ll Do as a General Sales Manager

Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the SITECH Strategic Business Plan

Lead, coach, and motivate sales representatives to drive growth and expand market share

Direct customer service and inside sales activities to ensure a high-quality customer experience

Oversee merchandising initiatives to strengthen product visibility and adoption

Build and maintain relationships with key contractors, surveyors, and equipment operators across Southeast Texas

Partner with cross-functional teams (deployment, service, support) to deliver seamless solutions

Monitor financial performance, create budgets, and track progress toward sales targets

Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to leadership

Stay current on Trimble technologies, competitive offerings, and industry trends

What We’re Looking For Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

7–10+ years of progressive sales management experience in construction technology, machinery, or related industries

Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of coaching and motivating sales teams

Strong customer service and solution-selling background

Ability to read financial statements, create budgets, and apply business acumen to decision-making

Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical knowledge of machinery, construction technology, or Trimble solutions

Experience in the Houston-area construction industry with established customer relationships

Familiarity with telematics, machine control, or site positioning systems
