Field Force Professional: The Field Force Professional is primarily focused on sales and lead generation, also offering onsite technical support to customers in a defined area for a specific Sonova brand.

Responsibilities Business Planning and Sales Results

Work with regional team to analyze the local market and develop a strategy to drive consumer sales within the region to achieve or exceed sales quotas.

Participate in account strategy and planning, and build relationships with customers

Attend AB Sales Meetings at the national, regional and territory level

Attend industry conferences and events within the territory and as needed nationally

Lead Generation

Identify and engage new lead sources within the territory including hearing healthcare professionals, early intervention specialists, cochlear implant clinics and AB recipients. Other sources may be identified as well.

Build relationships and trust with new lead sources

Educate new lead sources on CI eligibility criteria, benefits, and processes

Utilize AB tools and resources including hearing solutions collateral, database assessment guidance, needs assessments, Integrity Selling Tools and methods for connecting new leads to AB.

Collaborate with Phonak sales rep counterparts for joint strategic planning, customer visits and team meetings.

Conduct 1:1 in person meetings with HCPs and other lead sources

Lead the planning and execution of lead generating open houses and events at HCP offices, local community centers, and CI Centers

Increase and sustain new leads generated from all lead sources

Consumer Sales Funnel Management

Utilize the consumer sales process and Integrity Selling best practices to engage, counsel, and sell to consumers seeking hearing solutions to select AB.

Conduct 1:1 in person meetings with CI Candidates and AB Recipients

Lead the planning and execution of open houses and events for CI Candidates at HCP offices, local community centers, and CI Centers

Monitor sales funnel health to deliver expected results

Understand and mitigate reasons for losses

Recipient Contributor and Mentor Management

Identify and engage AB recipients to build new recipient contributors and mentors within the region

Onboard and train new mentors utilizing AB tools and resources

Engage recipient contributors and mentors on an ongoing basis through regional and national AB programs

Administrative

Document all activities and customer engagement with new leads, opportunities, HCPs, recipients and CI Centers in GCRM according to defined procedures.

Maintain compliance in all activities

Complete all training in a timely manner

Maintain spending in line with budget under the direction of the Regional Manager

Travelling Requirement Ability to travel 50-75% including frequent overnight travel and weekend travel.

Graduate Degree

Work Experience

At least one year of experience with adult and pediatric patients with Cochlear Implants.

Nice to Have

Previous Medical Device Company Sales Experience

Experience in implementing sales techniques is preferred.

Experience in working with volunteers is a plus.

Familiarity with cochlear implants, candidacy, and regional support organizations is helpful.

The ability to complete work independently and collaborate on a team

Ability to interact courteously and professionally when representing Advanced Bionics online or in person

Ability to persuade others while maintaining integrity and mutual respect

Must work in collaboration with Regional Manager, Area Director, Manager, Consumer Programs and Education, Clinical Specialists, CI Consumer Specialists, Marketing Communications, Technical Services, and Customer Service

Ability to manage and direct the work or Recipient Contributors and Mentors

Ability to maintain professionalism among peers and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Nice to Have

Spanish/ Fluent (highly preferred)

IT Skills

Microsoft Office, Web, Email, Phone usage

Captioning Software

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.

This role's pay range is between $65,600/yr - $98,400/yr (based on location). This role is also eligible for commission.
