The Front of House Assistant is a combined position that supports Box Office and Concessions operations during Park Square’s season programming. Job Overview The Front of House Assistant is a combined position that supports Box Office and Concessions operations during Park Square’s season programming. FoH Associates will fluidly take on these roles based on demand at the discretion of the Patron Services Manager. The right candidate is calm under pressure and brings a positive attitude to the workplace.
Primary Job Duties Box Office Associate
Manage all pre-show preparations within the Box Office
Manage and lead customer services for all ticket orders prior to the performance
Maintain in-house and online ticketing systems, web ordering and CRM databases
Effectively navigate night‑of patron ticket interactions
Maintain a positive attitude within any difficult situations
Concessions Associate
Manage the set‑up/clean up of all bar/concessions areas
Maintain a standard of practice for all point‑of‑sale transactions and cash handling
Provide exemplary customer service to all patrons of Park Square Theatre
Bartending/Hospitality experience is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Prior experience with online ticketing software is helpful; PST operates on Patron Manager
A proven track record of excellent customer service in sales or a similar retail environment
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers, clients, and co‑workers
Must have availability to work Wednesday‑Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons
Passion for the arts and live performance
Compensation In addition to an hourly wage, Front of House Assistants pool and split tips from bar and concessions sales during each shift worked.
