Financial Crimes Investigator
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
This role conducts end-to-end investigations into potential fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes. The investigator analyzes complex activities, prepares regulatory reports, and collaborates with law enforcement and internal partners to mitigate risk.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct investigations into suspected external fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing.
Prepare and file
Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
accurately and on time.
Present findings to senior stakeholders and recommend process or control enhancements.
Perform quality control, provide guidance, and support training across investigative processes.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to resolve cases efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
1+ years of experience in Fraud, AML, Risk, or Compliance (or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and financial crimes typologies.
Skilled in data analysis, investigative reporting, and written communication.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Preferred:
CAMS certification, law enforcement background, or experience in financial services.
