HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive services, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and include individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention.

Client Safety Navigator Overview The Client Safety Navigator is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment for all clients, staff, and visitors. The role utilizes verbal de‑escalation strategies to address crisis situations and client behavioral issues and is available 24/7 on site at the program. The Navigator monitors entrances and exits, checks clients and visitors in, maintains house runs and room checks, and helps safeguard the overall safety of the program. The Navigator works with program leadership, sheriff’s/local law enforcement, and health and safety teams to respond to emergency and crisis situations, including client drug use, overdose, programmatic interruptions, and other emergencies.

Client Services

Stationed at the front desk, monitoring entrances and exits.

Checking clients in when returning from appointments and verifying their bags for contraband.

Welcoming visitors, verifying credentials, and escorting them to the supervisor on duty.

Safety Responsibilities

Ensuring and maintaining a safe and orderly environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

Directing and deflecting traffic, and de‑escalating tense, high‑pressure, and emotionally charged situations.

Fostering a respectful and welcoming environment and maintaining non‑confrontational behavior at all times.

Conducting regular rounds of entrances, exits, offices, common areas, and building perimeter.

Keeping Narcan on hand at all times and administering nasal Narcan to reverse drug overdose when needed.

Co‑operating with local law enforcement when necessary.

Administrative and Documentation Responsibilities

Maintaining client sign‑in and sign‑out logs and visitor logs.

Filing incident reports as needed.

Education and Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.

Must complete a background check and livescan clearance.

Familiarity with supportive counseling strategies and recovery principles for clients with mental health, substance abuse, or co‑occurring conditions (preferred).

Demonstrated ability to interface well with diverse, disadvantaged populations with multiple barriers to educational and vocational success.

Proven ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, community organizations, and the broader community.

Understanding of social determinants of health and importance of whole‑person care.

Team orientation and ability to independently assume responsibility.

Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, and time‑management skills.

Willingness to work with clients in the community.

Bilingual in Spanish and English desired.
