The
Network Administrator
will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the organization’s network infrastructure. The main objective will be to ensure the availability, security, performance, and reliability of data communication systems, both internal and external, providing stable and efficient service to all users.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks.
Install, monitor, and maintain network hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
Manage and ensure connectivity of servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
Implement network security measures to protect information from unauthorized access, malware, and cyberattacks.
Monitor network performance and resolve incidents, outages, or connectivity issues.
Manage IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, and other network services.
Coordinate with internet service providers and third parties in case of incidents or integration projects.
Document configurations, changes, and technical procedures.
Collaborate with IT teams on upgrade, migration, and new technology implementation projects.
Provide tier 2 and 3 technical support for connectivity and network security issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Networks, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in network administration (3+ years recommended).
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of SQL databases and ability to manage or query them.
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
Desired certifications: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
