Credentialing Coordinator
for a
contract
with a client in
Dallas, TX.
This role involves conducting primary source verifications and maintaining compliance across credentialing files and databases.
Rate Range:
$25/hour to 29/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Credentialing Coordinator job responsibilities include:
Review and verify credentialing applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and NCQA standards. Conduct primary source verification and validate provider documentation to ensure all credentialing elements meet internal and regulatory requirements. Identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps in provider information that may impact credentialing or enrollment eligibility. Maintain and update provider data in the credentialing database with a focus on accuracy and adherence to procedural guidelines. Communicate with providers and internal teams to address credentialing issues and ensure timely responses and resolutions. Support cross-functional collaboration with Recruiting, Production, and Education teams to streamline credentialing processes and meet organizational goals. Required Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a credentialing role within a healthcare setting. NAMSS Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), or eligibility to certify within 2 years (preferred). Experience with CAQH, MD Staff, and Google Suite tools (preferred). Pay Details:
$25.00 to $29.00 per hour
