About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. The CFO will be a key partner in the organization's mission, providing fiscal expertise and oversight to advance equity, opportunity, and hope in communities. This role is responsible for all accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, general ledger, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a dual focus leadership style, being both detail-oriented and hands-on, while also able to see the big picture. They should be flexible, solution-focused, innovative, and have a strong commitment to providing timely, accurate, high-quality information and service.

Key responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing all finance and accounting functions, closely supervising the finance team, and preparing and presenting financial statements and program reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive team. The CFO will also drive the budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and work with budget managers to ensure effective budget management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing finance teams, strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. Experience with multiple complex funding sources, including State and Federal funding and third-party payer billing, is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA being a plus.
