About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Financial Regulatory Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and review of a variety of regulatory reports in compliance with US GAAP and regulatory authority instructions. This role requires a strong working knowledge of financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and the financial industry, including various products. The VP will also support the governance function of regulatory reports, which involves coordinating committees, handling external communications, and ensuring that changes in reporting instructions and accounting standards are reflected in the submitted reports.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting (advanced degree or professional certification preferred), a minimum of 7-10 years experience in financial or regulatory reporting within the banking industry, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with regulatory reporting tools and BI tools is also preferred. The role demands a candidate with the ability to manage multiple tasks, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to work with various stakeholders across the organization. The VP will be expected to maintain and update procedure documentation, develop training, and support both management and team members in their responsibilities.
