About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Multifamily Asset Management division. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of institutional-quality multifamily properties across the West Coast, including the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, and Denver. This role is pivotal in preparing and executing strategic annual business plans, overseeing property management teams, and providing input on potential acquisitions. The Vice President will also work closely with the capital markets team to position assets for sale and manage the disposition process. Strong leadership is essential, as the role involves managing and developing a team of analysts and associates and collaborating with the multifamily team and other asset managers across the company's offices.
Applicants must have a BA or BS degree, with a preference for a field related to real estate, finance, business, accounting, or economics, and a minimum of 7-10 years' direct real estate industry experience, including specific multifamily asset management. Experience in managing development deals is a strong plus. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat is necessary, along with a strong sense of personal motivation, accountability, and entrepreneurship. The Vice President will also be expected to have strong negotiating skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
