Applicants for the Chair position must have a PhD or terminal degree in a health administration-related field, with a strong academic record and a commitment to the values of the institution. Extensive administrative leadership experience in the healthcare industry, higher education, or public service is required, along with a proven track record of collaborative leadership, organizational development, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in organizational management, including budgeting and strategic planning, and a dedication to interprofessional development. Familiarity with the CAHME accreditation process, participation in relevant professional organizations, and experience in fundraising and external outreach are preferred qualifications. The Chair will be expected to work in an environment that values diversity and to foster a culture of respect, professionalism, and civility.
