About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to provide strategic and operational leadership for its supply chain function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, logistics, contracting, receiving, and inventory management, with a focus on meeting the needs of the institution while maintaining cost-effectiveness. This role involves setting and implementing supply chain priorities, representing the institution at group purchasing organization meetings, and fostering relationships to maximize value and efficiency. The Vice President will also be a key advisor and leader, working closely with institutional and operational leaders to ensure the highest standards of customer service and continuous improvement in supply chain management practices.
Candidates for the Vice President of Supply Chain position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain operations. A background in a large, complex organization, particularly in an academic medical center or large healthcare system, is highly valued. The role requires a servant leader with strong strategic and tactical skills, the ability to partner effectively with executive and faculty leadership, and a commitment to the highest standards of customer service.
