About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to provide strategic and operational leadership for its supply chain function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement and distribution of supplies and materials across all the company's locations. This role involves fostering relationships with the Group Purchasing Organization to maximize value and efficiency, as well as serving as the authority on all supply flow activities. The Vice President will be expected to develop and implement a modern, integrated supply chain that meets the company's needs and patient expectations while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with a strong track record in supply chain management, capable of setting and achieving innovative, strategic, and tactical priorities. Key responsibilities include partnering with functional leaders, representing the company at GPO meetings, and identifying opportunities to optimize the supply chain. The role also requires ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, as well as leading the development of supply chain personnel. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of relevant leadership experience in supply chain operations. Experience in a large healthcare system or academic medical center is a plus, and proficiency in PeopleSoft software is also preferred.
