Overview
Radioligand Therapies (RLT) Director, Ecosystem Lead - East is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in the eastern United States, including New York, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago and the surrounding area. Location is within the territory; relocation support is not offered and visa sponsorship is not provided. Key Responsibilities
Understand the needs of target ecosystem archetype customers at all levels, from departments to C-Suite, and use insights to anticipate, leverage, and navigate trends impacting the business; articulate insights and drive priorities to deliver outcomes. Develop and drive strategic plans, leading the region’s Integrated Field Strategy Team (IFST) to advance Novartis objectives and address account needs; collaborate with IFST members on pre-launch/launch strategy and execution across HQ, account, and regional leadership teams. Build strategic customer relationships to advance engagement between Novartis and ecosystem partners; identify, prioritize, and champion changes to better serve partners. Identify opportunities for collaboration with ecosystem C-Suite, D-Suite, and other non-HCP decision-makers; serve as the RLT oncology primary contact and partner with other account leads for executive exchanges. Create and enable opportunities for internal cross-functional collaboration; drive partners across functions to remove barriers and deliver solutions; lead communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and enterprise mindset collaboration. Offer alternatives and solutions where challenges and ambiguity exist. Own account performance across the RLT platform; identify and lead opportunities to impact demand-generating functions and influence cross-functional teams including sales and access. Establish, enable, and lead effective communications between Novartis and ecosystems, internal account teams, customer engagement leadership, and other functions; anticipate and communicate strategic shifts that align with goals. Manage multiple, highly critical ecosystem targets with the ability to travel within the territory as required. Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus. 10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, healthcare consulting, health-related technology, or related fields with large geographically dispersed sales teams; experience across at least two cross-functional roles. 5+ years’ experience in account management covering Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs and/or Large Community Oncology networks. 2+ years’ experience in project management/leadership and translating strategy into execution. 2+ years’ experience leading complex projects requiring cross-functional and national alignment. Recent US experience (within last 5 years) with deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem. Strong ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally in a matrix environment to build and drive strategic account plans aligned to customer and organizational goals. Candidate must reside within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance (approximately 100 miles from the territory border) and be able to travel 60-80% nationally; valid driver’s license required. Desirable Requirements
Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Buy and Bill or related experience in a highly matrixed organization. Understanding of the macro-economic landscape in healthcare impacting operational, clinical, and financial decisions. Established relationships with Large Urology Group Practices (LUGPA) and experience in management and treatment of advanced prostate cancer is highly preferred. Final salary is determined by factors including relevant skills and experience and may be adjusted based on company and market factors. Compensation may include a performance-based cash incentive and eligibility for annual equity awards where applicable.
