The Director of Market Access will lead the development and execution of EMEA market access and reimbursement to ensure broad and sustainable access to the company’s innovative medical technologies. This person will be responsible for engaging with government agencies, payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, policymakers, and key stakeholders in the region to shape the external reimbursement environment and secure optimal market access. What you will be doing

Work with the Global Head to further develop and implement Insightec’s EMEA Market Access Plan for current and upcoming indications. Develop and implement robust national and local pricing and reimbursement action plans across the region, in collaboration with other functions, including Commercial, Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs. Lead, review, and approve all Health Technology Assessment (HTA) / pricing and reimbursement submissions, in line with global strategy and best methodological practice in relevant EMEA countries with a focus on the EU5 with intent to capitalize on interdependencies and influence in other countries. Develop a robust payer network to map external payer environment and communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders and senior management regarding key markets\' current and future reimbursement landscape. Work closely with Global Value Strategy Lead, GVAS, on all relevant items, including value definition, global value dossiers, health economics, burden of disease, Real-World Evidence, etc. Delivers and/or oversees development of tailored reimbursement dossiers/ value tools (incl health economic models) that speak to the necessary stakeholders including national health authorities, regional and local payers, providers in both public and private systems. Collaborate with consultants, key opinion leaders, and clinical societies to secure coalitions in support of market access strategies and the Insightec government affairs function where relevant Monitor regional policy environment and trends in reimbursement and economic value to build intelligence effectively in current and future action plans across the region Contribute to public relations, regulatory and clinical evidence development plans in line with patient access goals and objectives. Lead the development and strategic alignment of EMEA Market Access & Reimbursement annual goals to drive regional strategy including strategic inputs to support functional KPIs and scorecards Represent Insightec at conferences, society meetings, advocacy initiatives and related events to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in the market access and reimbursement field. What you have

A minimum of 10 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical reimbursement and health policy, ideally with direct experience in the EU5 (ex. England, Germany, France) A track record of success executing on strategies, timely submissions and achieving positive outcomes to gain appropriate reimbursement while delivering value to diverse stakeholder groups General experience in health economics including cost-effectiveness, ICERs/QALYs, cost minimization, budget impact. Experience working with KOLs, government agencies, public bodies, and private payers. Apply business and corporate ethical standards. Perform due diligence; assess and interpret HTA/pricing/reimbursement requirements and their impact. Understanding of national and local health care policies across the EU and more broadly EMEA Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment Strong business acumen and ability to combine technical excellence with commercial awareness Prior experience of launching a disruptive technology and establishing a novel therapeutic approach preferred Strong leadership capabilities and ability to effectively work and communicate across multiple cultures and a breadth of functions and levels. Ability to grow with the organization and willingness to assume additional responsibilities over time Agile in responding to internal/external market changes Analytical competencies to structure complex issues, synthesize key points, communicate and present in an easily understandable manner Effective computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Communicate effectively verbally and in writing (English). Minimum M.Sc. or M.A. degree in a scientific or technical discipline. Willingness to Extensive travels (at least 60%) Seniority level
