Global Senior Brand Manager (ACANA)

– Champion Petfoods Global Senior Brand Manager to be the right hand to the Global VP, Marketing for the ACANA brand. This role requires a proven leader with deep expertise in classical marketing and a track record of success in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Global experience in brand building, media planning, analytics, and insights is needed to develop and execute brand growth plans across international markets. Strong executive presence to influence, inspire, and rally internal and external stakeholders at every level. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth Partner : Collaborate with the Global VP to develop and execute ACANA’s 5-year global growth strategy. Identify growth levers, align cross-market teams, and drive scale through the Mars ‘Expert’ growth model. Act as the catalyst to push initiatives forward and maintain momentum.

Global Brand Custodian : Monitor, protect, and grow ACANA brand equity. Develop tools to enable flawless execution in 60+ markets. Nurture a global brand community and be the authoritative voice of the brand.

Stakeholder Balancer & Influencer : Balance and align diverse global, regional, and local stakeholders; present and sell ideas to senior leadership and external customers. Inspire trust through clear, compelling storytelling.

Breakthrough Creative Architect : Design and deploy global creative that elevates storytelling and regional execution. Lead agencies and internal teams to deliver data-driven campaigns across markets.

Analytics To Insights Leader : Interpret global market trends, consumer insights, category dynamics, and competitive intelligence. Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.

Portfolio & Range Strategist : Define and optimize product assortment, positioning, and pricing strategies to maximize consumer value while maintaining brand integrity.

Key Requirements

Demonstrated experience in global brand building and expansion, including executing global campaigns.

10+ years of classical marketing experience in brand building, ideally with a leading CPG organization.

Proven track record of success in the CPG industry.

Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

Ability to translate analytics into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Proven ability to build trust and deliver results across geographies, cultures, and functions.

Experience managing agencies and complex project workstreams at the Global level.

Agile, solution-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and change.

Role based in Boulder, Colorado, with hybrid on-site presence.

Baccalaureate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.

Pet owner preferred.
