Our client, a National Property & Casualty Insurance Broker, is seeking an experienced Sr. Commercial Lines Team Leader – Real Estate Practice to join their Midtown Manhattan office. The role requires in-office work 2-3 days per week and involves managing a multimillion-dollar book of business, overseeing a team of approximately 4 Account Executives, and guiding pre- and post-renewal activities. Base pay range : $200,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr Location : Manhattan, NY (in-office 2-3x per week) Salary : $200,000k - $230,000k (dependent upon experience) + bonus and benefits Position open due to growth. This is a senior leadership role with a focus on managing client relationships, renewals, and team performance within a Real Estate practice. Responsibilities Manage 5-8 large, complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contact Coordinate new and renewal marketing, respond to questions and requests, and review coverage Manage all aspects of the account life cycle: pre-renewal, renewal, post-renewal, and stewardship meetings Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned high-touch, complex Commercial Lines clients Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and to the Account Management and Sales Executive teams Market and place client Commercial Lines insurance renewals; determine most-appropriate carriers Analyze and compare carrier quotes and coverage offerings Make insurance program recommendations to clients Manage client renewal expirations and avoid lapses in coverage Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients Process policies, endorsements and audits as needed Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts Delegate administrative client tasks to Account Representatives Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems Attend frequent in-person client meetings, with and without Sales Executives Coordinate regular carrier interactions and meetings with underwriters Qualifications MUST have an active Property & Casualty license (REQUIRED) Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred) Extensive Casualty experience 7-10+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience The compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and skill set.
