Credit Portfolio Group Manager

Oversee the LATAM Corporate Clients Group Portfolio, assessing the main drivers and trends in credit risk. Lead the Regional Portfolio Reviews and coordinate regional presentations to regulators. Participate in regional and global projects representing LATAM Risk. Drive the Manager’s Control Assessment process across LATAM clusters, defining controls and monitoring tools. Lead credit-related internal audit exams and provide inputs on regional credit risk to the LATAM Cluster & Banking Risk Head. Perform tasks related to the Latin America Debt Rating Model as a delegate. Provide regular feedback to the LATAM Wholesale Credit Risk group on initiatives including overseeing credit portfolio, policy implementation, staffing, emerging credit risks, and reporting opportunities to senior management. Work with LATAM country risk managers and cluster heads to coordinate portfolio and regulatory requirements. Manage a group of professionals who provide credit and regulatory support to local Risk teams across LATAM. Telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite per Citi policies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or related field. 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Credit Risk Manager, Credit Portfolio Manager, or related role involving credit portfolio and risk management for Latin American clients across sectors (power, energy, utilities, consumer, transportation and industrials, public, and financial institutions) within a global financial services institution. Experience with: credit risk gap analyses and remediation; portfolio management; risk trend and driver identification (including macroeconomic and political factors) and impact analysis on LATAM corporate portfolio; risk model development process management; Manager’s Control Assessment process management and monitoring tools; managing personnel in LATAM; LATAM debt rating model testing and assessment; sector knowledge across listed industries; knowledge of banking regulatory framework with international and LATAM applications.
