Job Description The Account Director will lead and grow the Neptune capabilities across CPG companies, with a primary focus on growing our Kroger business, targeting a 70/30 mix of account development and new business. The successful candidate will meet the skills/capabilities/characteristics described below. Responsibilities
Strategically build upon current and new business relationships to close profitable business sales and explore opportunities with new business. Create client-centric campaign options utilizing our full suite of capabilities to address client needs. Employ effective selling strategies to increase revenue across accounts in alignment with company goals and profitability requirements. Manage relationships and negotiations at all levels of assigned region/accounts. Secure live meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand business objectives and how Neptune capabilities can help achieve goals, building out a robust opportunity pipeline. Build recommendations based on data and insights. Engage with internal resources to uncover business opportunities and elevate client proposals. Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting to management. Requirements
Demonstrated ability with tangible results and references to grow revenue through their own actions over at least three consecutive years. Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential. High-energy self-starter with personal accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly in a fast-paced environment. Success in building strong relationships with senior-level decision makers. Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients. Ability to clearly communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders. Experience selling within the CPG industry. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
